Social Media Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Palace of Fine Arts Theatre is seeking a Social Media Coordinator to join their Team on a Part Time basis. 

Job Description:

Social Media Coordinator

  • Managing day-to-day activity on social media accounts
  • Create and develop social media following
  • Build monthly email blasts
  • Coordinate show announcement post via social media accounts
  • This is a remote position that requires a self starter with a desire to help build and maintain social media platforms

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years experience working with a business social media platform preferred
  • Service oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience working in a theatre or entertainment industry
  • Able to successfully handle multiple deadlines
  • Certain degree of creativity a major plus
  • Experience with a wide variety of social media platforms
  • Overall awareness of the entertainment business a plus
  • Must have the ability to accommodate a flexible schedule including some weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills, and attention to detail
Hours/Salary: 5-10hrs/wk, $30/hr
